The first rule of fight club is...



So if you've ever wondered how your characters would stack up in artistic combat with others, then here is something that you really ought to check out:

Its called One Dollar Fighter, or 1DF, and is the brainchild of The same deviant who brought you the wildly popular Angel Fighting League- AFL's 1, 2, and 3. Basically, you draw up an original character, give him/her powers, weaknesses, weapons, etc. (as far as I can tell, the sky's truly the limit here) and then you are assigned a series of bracketed fights, i.e. tournament style. These 'fights' pit your character against another deviant's and the object is to draw a single image of the battle that will hopefully be judged (more creative, violent, cunning, devious, humorous, more technically brilliant, etc.) as superior to that of your opponent for that round. Win, and you advance to another round. Lose, and pack your bags. It only costs one dollar, payable through paypal (which is a cinch) to enter an OC and the pot goes to the winner(s) along with other donated prizes. There's still time to enter, so give it a look. And even if you're not interested, you may want to consider watching this guy as he updates the results from one week to the next. If you're like me at all, you really get involoved in all these cool imaginary characters and their struggles. Theres even various fight arenas assigned to spice up the action.
