Cry Tyranny

In the darkness lurks a demon,
bleeding eyes ablaze in hate.
There, hungry in the shadows,
untold centuries did he wait.

For fear to transcend reason,
a twisted, inbred thing.
So lives the growing demon;
the enslavement of  the free.

In fear screamed the feeble masses,
for 'change' unlocked his gate.
In unforgiveable cowardice,
the masses sealed their fate.

A frenzied feast on freedom,
won by others long ago.
The blood of patriot fathers,
forgotten and of no-

consequence to the craven.
Yes, ours was the greatest sin.
In the darkness lurked a demon;
and in fear we let him in...

Although I don't post it, poetry is something I've written all my life. Every once in a while emotions are too strong to be expressed through any other means.
Take from this what you will, and should it speak to you, let me know; Mojo says there's plenty more where that came from. :)

I JUST saw this, probably because whenever i log on, the 234 deviations kind of make me run screaming the other way. But once a week I get around to looking at them all, so sorry if I'm a bit late. This is very good, and I like the message :D.

I think I get the message, though :D :D
